Acceptable Use Policy

Occlo is a personal privacy tool. This policy describes what you may and may not do with the service. Violating this policy is grounds for immediate account termination.

Permitted uses

The following activities are explicitly permitted.

Scanning and removing your own personal data from data brokers and surface-web sources.

Acting on behalf of a family member, provided they have explicitly consented and you can demonstrate that consent if asked.

Using the removal authorization feature to submit legitimate opt-out requests to data brokers.

Configuring Autopilot to automatically manage removals for your own data.

Using the AI assistant to understand your own exposure and health score.

Prohibited uses

The following activities are strictly prohibited.

Searching for, scanning, or requesting removal of data belonging to another individual without their explicit written consent.

Using Occlo to stalk, harass, threaten, or surveil any individual.

Attempting to circumvent, scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the Occlo service or any data broker's opt-out mechanisms.

Creating false or fraudulent removal authorizations on behalf of individuals who have not consented.

Reselling, licensing, or commercialising access to the Occlo service or scan results without written permission.

Using Occlo in any way that violates applicable laws, including data protection regulations, anti-stalking laws, or computer fraud statutes.

Sharing account credentials or allowing third parties to access your account.

Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Occlo interface outside of officially documented APIs.

Enforcement

Occlo reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account found to be in violation of this policy, with or without prior notice. If you believe your account has been incorrectly suspended, contact support@occlo.ai.
